Jennifer Frasier

Jennifer Frasier grew up where the ocean meets the pines right in the heart of a small, scenic tourist town on the coast of southern Maine. Surrounded by a tight-knit family who has always been her anchor, she spent her childhood playing field hockey and softball, skiing down winter slopes, and exploring the beauty of her home state.

Though she began studying Early Childhood Education at the University of Maine at Farmington, Jennifer soon discovered her true calling was already right in front of her. She had started working at her town’s Recreation Department at fifteen and what began as a summer job blossomed into a thirty-four-year career filled with creativity, community, and the joyful chaos of childhood energy.

Working with children sparked her imagination daily. They were her muses fueling countless games, programs, and ideas that she invented on the fly. When Jennifer eventually stepped away from her recreation career, that creative spark needed a new outlet. Writing became the perfect place for it to land. Jennifer has explored far and wide across the United States and beyond, yet every journey reminded her how special Maine is especially for raising a family. Her greatest adventure, and her proudest accomplishment, is her son. This book also carries a piece of her heart. Its main character is named in honor of a beloved childhood friend she lost too soon, someone who helped shape her early life and whose memory continues to inspire her. Writing a book had always been a dream, but finding the right moment to begin took time. Once she finally put pen to paper, the story grew naturally born out of love, creativity, and the desire to honor the people and places that made her who she is. Jennifer hopes you enjoy the journey within these pages as much as she enjoyed creating it.
